Middlesex Dominant In Opener. Velasco Gets First Win

Edison, NJ; The Middlesex College Colts Men's Soccer team beat Brookdale CC 3-0 in their first game of the spring season. It was a dominant performance by the Colts who controlled most of the game. The Colts showed a new identity and style of play, a more physical and possession-oriented team under new Head Coach Javier Velasco. Nicolas Garralfo (Carteret) had two goals. Ali Mansour (North Brunswick) have 4 saves in the shut-out win. 

 The win for the Colts also marked the first win for new Head Coach Javier Velasco at the College level. 

 Next up for Middlesex is Salem CC on Monday, April 12th at 4PM Home in Thomas Edison Park.
