MIDDLESEX COLLEGE MENS AND WOMENS SOCCER REGION 19 PLAYOFFS SEEDINGS ANNOUNCED

For the second straight season, the Middlesex College Men's and Women's Soccer teams have qualified for the NJCAA Division III Region XIX Tournament and will both compete on Saturday in first round matchups.

The Men's team will open the playoffs at home for the second straight season and will face Sussex CC at Crabiel Field. Game time is set for 3:00PM.

Middlesex (7-6-2) finished with a better record than Sussex CC (6-5-2) with a better performance against the top teams in the table, although the Skylanders beat Middlesex head-to-head. The winner of the matchup between Middlesex and Sussex will take on top-seeded Camden CC on October 24.

The Women's team will travel to RCSJ-Cumberland to face the Dukes, who finished with the highest overall winning percentage in Region XIX at 5-1-4. Middlesex (4-5-2) tied RCSJ-Cumberland 2-2 earlier in the season. The winner of Middlesex and RCSJ-Cumberland will travel to Brookdale to take on the top-seeded Jersey Blues with the winner of that matchup advancing to the NJCAA D3 National Tournament.
