SEYFARTH DOMINANT IN COLTS WIN OVER RCSJ-CUMBERLAND

Carla Seyfarth was dominant with 19 points and 14 rebounds to lead Middlesex College Women's Basketball to a 72-40 win over RCSJ-Cumberland.

The win is the second straight for the Colts and raised their record to 7-13 on the season.

The Colts and Dukes played a close first quarter, but Middlesex pulled away by outscoring RCSJ-Cumberland 22-7 in the second quarter to take a 39-17 halftime lead.

Franchesca Derilus (Sophomore/Port St. Lucie, FL) scored 11 off the bench for the Colts and added six rebounds and four assists.

Ashley Knuth (Freshman/Middlesex, NJ) had a career-high ten rebounds and Courtney Hansen (Freshman/Carteret, NJ) added five steals for Middlesex.

Seyfarth's double-double was the freshman's sixth double-double in the past seven games.

Middlesex will be back in action on Tuesday night as part of their Pink Night Doubleheader against Sussex County College. Guests are invited to wear pink to support cancer awareness and arrive early for pregame ceremonies. The Women are set to tip off at 5:00PM with the Men's game to follow.
